Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Mott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Mott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeff Glover!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mott throws a sloppy head kick and Glover moves out of range easily.
Mott scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Glover doesn't seem bothered though.
Glover walks into a left hand.
Mott scores with a push kick.
Glover manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mott on his heels. He'll look to pass Mott's guard now, I'm sure.

Mott bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Glover's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glover swivels though and keeps the full guard.

John Mott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Glover crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mott - the referee stops the clock and Glover gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mott. Glover manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Mott counters with a series of strikes. Glover will be more careful next time no doubt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
