Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tex Ranger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ranger comes into the arena with Eaten by Bloodbath blaring out of the sound system. Man is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Penthouse. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ranger doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Man misses with a double jab.
Ranger scores with a nice head shot.
Ranger tries to score a power double leg takedown but Man sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ranger somewhat.
Man jabs Ranger right on the nose. Ranger blinks but takes it well.
Man scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Donk. Man catches Ranger right on the button with a cross.
A combination from Man does no damage.
Man misses with the combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Man throws a shot from downtown. Ranger moves away and avoids it.

Man is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ranger.
Man scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Man connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Man misses with a series of wild punches.
Man fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ranger on the side of the head.
Ranger misses with a hook. Man ducked under it nicely.
Man throws a right and a left that both miss.
Man throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ranger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ranger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Man is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Ranger has taken his back!

Man is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Ranger gets his way!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
