PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bono Estente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Balboa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Balboa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
An inside leg kick from Estente misses.
Balboa thows a left - swing and a miss!
Balboa wants to slow Estente down by chopping away at his legs.
Balboa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Balboa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Estente swivels and escapes.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rocky Balboa hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Balboa walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Balboa shoots for a double leg takedown but Estente sprawls well. He's pushed Balboa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Estente gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Balboa to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Estente wriggles free and stands up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bono Estente.
I think Estente has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
