Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Somkane Kummanee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes to the ring accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson blocks a head kick by Kummanee.
Thompson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kummanee works the jab nicely.
Kummanee throws out a leg kick but Thompson moves out of range and Kummanee only half commits.
Rocky Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson misses with a wild combination.
Thompson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kummanee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kummanee ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nice takedown defense from Kummanee. No joy for Thompson on that attempt.
Kummanee connects with a body shot that sends Thompson's belly button to the back.

Kummanee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Thompson.
Crunch! Thompson slams his shin into Kummanee's torso.
Somkane Kummanee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A decent looking cross lands there for Kummanee.
Kummanee tries to land a front kick but Thompson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Thompson swings for the body but Kummanee moves out of range.
Thompson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kummanee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Thompson. That did some damage!
A lazy left from Kummanee finds it's target.
Thompson wants to clinch up but Kummanee keeps it at a distance.
Kummanee connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kummanee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kummanee fails to land with a series of punches.
Thompson scores with a push kick.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Thompson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kummanee swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Thompson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kummanee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Thompson. That did some damage!
Thompson is breathing heavily.
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick and Kummanee moves out of range easily.

Kummanee lands a nice shot that snaps Thompson's head back.

Kummanee fakes the leg kick and cracks Thompson in the body.

Kummanee dodges the punch combination from Thompson.
Kummanee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Kummanee counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kummanee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thompson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kummanee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thompson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kummanee with a nice cross.
Kummanee connects with a leg kick. Thompson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Thompson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Nice jab there from Kummanee.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Thompson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thompson is rocked!
Kummanee feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Thompson collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
