Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre The Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emerson Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre The Giant has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andre The Giant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Emerson Santos!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with The Giant but The Giant pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The Giant is breathing heavily.
The Giant loads up on a big right hand but Santos slips the punch.
The Giant throws a right and a left that Santos avoids nicely.
The Giant throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Santos.
Santos closes the distance and clinches up with The Giant, looking for a takedown. Santos pushes The Giant against the cage but The Giant circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Andre The Giant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emerson Santos.

The Giant working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Santos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Santos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Giant swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The Giant has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Santos is working away from the top position though.

Santos looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Giant is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Santos is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The Giant wants to control but Santos is having none of it.

Santos jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but The Giant manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Santos has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The Giant is squirming around, avoiding Santos's attempts to control the action.

Santos keeps control of the position as The Giant tries to break free.

Well Santos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
