Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Thomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Durant!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas scores with a head kick.
Durant takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Durant pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Thomas takes the fight into the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Durant as Thomas tries to tie him up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Durant.
Durant managing to block the knees to the body from Thomas.
Durant can't break the clinch.
Thomas creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Durant's defenses.

A frustrated look appears on Durant's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Durant throws a head punch that misses.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Thomas obliges.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Thomas takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Thomas blocking some punches.
Durant wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Thomas has him pressed against the cage.
Thomas is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Durant is keeping busy.
A head punch on the inside from Durant fails to land.

Thomas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Durant thows a leg kick but Thomas checks it
and Thomas counters with a leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thomas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Durant.
Thomas works over Durant's head and body with a nice combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd cheers as Thomas lands an impressive looking overhand right. Durant doesn't seem phased though.

Durant on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Thomas scores with a hook to the body. Durant takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Durant looks gassed!

Thomas moves into the clinch.
Durant has a couple of punches blocked by Thomas.
Thomas stalling.
Durant takes an elbow to the temple.

Durant is rocked!

The referee is keeping an eye on Thomas - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Durant is trying to break free.
A frustrated look appears on Durant's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Thomas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Thomas lands a left and a right that send Durant crashing to the mat, dazed. Thomas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Durant is still on wobbly legs! Can Thomas finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thomas ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Durant's jaw. Durant's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Thomas does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
