The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Walton or perhaps it was just good defense by Bandit which made him look bad.
Walton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bandit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bandit misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Walton sneaks out the side door and pushes Bandit away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Tim Walton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bandit shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walton pinned against the cage. Walton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
