Wales tries to clinch up.

Wales breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wales wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wales swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wales uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Wales.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wales walks straight into a right hand from Silva - that's dropped him! Silva jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Wales from any more punishment! Wales complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
