Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danner leaves Cartwright with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cartwright is looking to clinch but Danner is avoiding it.
Cartwright has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Haus Cartwright has been cut.
Danner throws a sloppy head kick and Cartwright moves out of range easily.

Cartwright fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Danner avoids it really well and circles away.

Cartwright gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Cartwright tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Danner is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Cartwright buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Cartwright!! Cartwright is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Danner throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
