The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mondero bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dantes throws a sloppy head kick

and Mondero counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dantes's guard now.

Dantes is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mondero is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mondero connects with a nice short shot to Dantes's temple.

Mondero is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Dantes is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mondero scores with a couple of nice shots.

Mondero looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
