The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charlie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Good work by Cummins as he checks the leg kick.
Cummins dives in and grabs Charlie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Charlie pushes down on Cummins's head and hops out.
Cummins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Charlie as he jumps to the side.
Cummins looks for a takedown but Charlie sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clessie Cummins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Charlie tried to score with a low kick but Cummins checks it.
Cummins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Charlie manages to avoid it.
Cummins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Charlie sprawls well. Charlie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cummins gets slowly back to his feet.

Charlie fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cummins.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cummins. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Cummins wants to clinch up but Charlie keeps it at a distance.

Charlie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cummins.

Blanka Charlie dominated that round.

and Charlie counters with a crisp one two that drops Cummins! Charlie thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Cummins to his feet! Cummins is in big trouble!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Charlie lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oh Cummins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Clessie Cummins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Charlie scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cummins doesn't seem bothered though.
Charlie lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Cummins - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Charlie!
