Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Backstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikael Tronko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Backstrom comes to the cage accompanied by Girl I Love. David Backstrom has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mikael Tronko!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tronko thows a body shot but no joy.
Tronko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Backstrom.
Tronko throws a right hand that Backstrom ducks under and follows up with a left that Backstrom also avoids with ease.
Tronko scores with a jab to the body.
Backstrom keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tronko.
A jab from Tronko finds it's way through Backstrom's defenses.
Tronko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Backstrom uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tronko.

Tronko gets caught flat footed, as Backstrom shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Backstrom has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Backstrom postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Backstrom tries to free his leg and advance position but Tronko is retaining full guard.
Backstrom pushes down on Tronko's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tronko is trying to stand up here but Backstrom is controlling him well.

Tronko is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Backstrom pulls his head out easily.

Backstrom is nestled in close to Tronko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Tronko looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Backstrom pushes past his half guard into mount!
Backstrom throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Backstrom lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Backstrom is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Backstrom in particular looking to stall.
Backstrom passes the guard and advances to mount!
