Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daisuke Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Blyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suzuki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. Blyer has chosen Eye Of The Tiger as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Blyer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Suzuki.
A head kick from Suzuki lands but Blyer takes it in his stride.

Suzuki lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rocky Blyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Suzuki and Blyer goes tumbling to the canvas! Suzuki follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Suzuki wants to free his trapped foot but Blyer is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Suzuki cracks Blyer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Suzuki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
