The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyol keeps the fight on the outside.

Lawson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hyol did well to prevent Lawson getting side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Lawson controlling the position well here. Hyol rolled but Lawson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Lawson is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hyol with him. Hyol is trying to defend but Lawson has an arm under the chin now! Hyol grimaces and is forced to tap out!
