Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fox cracks Smith with a good jab.

It looks like John Smith has been cut.
Smith lands with a nice body kick.
Smith tries to work over Fox's front leg with a kick but Fox checks it.

Smith throws a leg kick that misses.
Fox throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fox throws a wild body kick that Smith sees coming a mile off.
Fox checks a leg kick nicely.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A punch lands to the side of Smith 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fox lands with a light punch inside.
Fox doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fox struggles to land a body shot inside as Smith controls his hands.

Smith prevents Fox from breaking the clinch.

Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sam Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Fox tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smith misses with a low kick.
Fox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Fox.
Fox lands a nice shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Fox throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fox lands a really nice looking cross but Smith seems unphased.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fox manages to avoid it.
Fox sizes up Smith with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fox throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fox avoids the body shot from Smith.

Smith on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fox. Fox obviously looking to wear him down.
Good leg kick by Fox there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Smith needs to keep his hands up - Fox had a free shot at his head there.
Fox connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Fox fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Smith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fox, as that shot connected.
Smith looks gassed!
Fox throws a quick inside leg kick.
Smith lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Smith takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Fox misses with a double jab.

Fox slips a straight right by Smith.

Smith throws a leg kick but Fox sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Smith walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fox.
Fox fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fox connects with a crisp jab.

Smith is rocked!

That has opened up John Smith's cut even more.
Fox connects with a body shot that sends Smith's belly button to the back.
Fox is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Fox jabs Smith to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Fox throws a nice inside leg kick.
Smith on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fox. Fox obviously looking to wear him down.

Fox connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Fox finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fox circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Smith to the canvas! Smith doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Fox keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
