The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson doesn't manage to clinch there - De Ridder circles away.
De Ridder takes a shot to the body in his stride.
De Ridder shoots and misses
and Eriksson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kooistra De Ridder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by De Ridder or perhaps it was just good defense by Eriksson which made him look bad.
Eriksson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from De Ridder.

Eriksson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
De Ridder shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eriksson but Eriksson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
De Ridder shoots in looking for a takedown but Eriksson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing De Ridder's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

De Ridder ducks under a wild hook from Eriksson.
The crowd cheers as Eriksson lands an impressive looking overhand right. De Ridder doesn't seem phased though.
Eriksson stuffs the takedown.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Eriksson, as that shot connected.
De Ridder will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
De Ridder connects with a good right hand that stumbles Eriksson. Eriksson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from De Ridder is defended easily by Eriksson.
De Ridder is breathing heavily.
De Ridder needs to keep his hands up - Eriksson had a free shot at his head there.
