Bash throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bash connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Bash keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bash misses with a series of wild punches.

Bash connects with the punch.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bash but Bash pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Billy Bash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Silva.
Silva moves away from the strike by Bash.
Bash tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bash lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Bash. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bash.
Silva throws a series of punches but Bash avoids them all with ease.
Bash fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.

Bash connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silva's hands.

Billy Bash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bash defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silva.

Silva slips under a jab from Bash.
Bash misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bash looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
A combination from Bash does no damage.
Bash slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd cheers as Bash lands an impressive looking overhand right. Silva doesn't seem phased though.

and Silva counters with a single leg into guard. Bash didn't expect that.

Bash on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bash tries to get out of the position.
Bash wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position.

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Silva pushes down on Bash's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Silva in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bash tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Silva!
