The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atarashii thuds a left hand into Frye's body.
Atarashii scores with a hook to the body. Frye takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Atarashii feints a jab promting Frye to slip. Atarashii then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Frye slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Don Frye has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Frye takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Frye is breathing heavily.
Atarashii catches Frye with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Atarashii lands a big uppercut and Frye crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Frye looks OK. Atarashii waves Frye back to his feet!

Frye is rocked!

Frye tries to keep at a distance but Atarashii has taken the fight into the clinch.
Oh Frye is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Come on Atarashii - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Frye seems to have got his legs back now.
Atarashii lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Atarashii lands a hook that snaps the head of Frye backwards.
Atarashii will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Frye up against the ropes.
Frye is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Atarashii is keeping busy.

Atarashii lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Atarashii works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Atarashii cracks Frye with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Don Frye's cut is getting worse.

Oooooh!!! Atarashii has knocked Frye down with a huge combo! Atarashii steps away and waves a wobbly Frye back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Atarashii throws a right hand that Frye ducks under and follows up with a left that Frye also avoids with ease.
Frye takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Atarashii cracks Frye with a right hand to the side of the head.
Atarashii feints with a jab and clips Frye right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Frye is sent crashing into the canvas and Atarashii leaps in for the kill! Frye tries to get to his feet but Atarashii is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Frye is in need of a savior and steps in!
