And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pigg gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hick gets control of Pigg's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hick will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hick wants to sweep but no luck.
Hick has momentary wrist control but Pigg slips an elbow through the middle.
Pigg throws a big right hand that misses.

Pigg is working Hick over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pigg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hick is tightening it up a little... Pigg has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pigg reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pigg taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hick!
