The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaquob is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Jamal Yaquob has been cut.
Yaquob throws a head kick that misses.
Belfort avoids the head kick by Yaquob.
Yaquob shoots in but Belfort avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Yaquob tries to clinch there but Belfort circles away.
Yaquob takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Belfort digs a good hook to Yaquob's body.
Yaquob is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Belfort looks for the body kick but Yaquob saw that one coming.
Yaquob takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Yaquob takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Yaquob stuffs the takedown attempt from Belfort. Belfort gets slowly back to his feet.
Yaquob walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Belfort checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Yaquob stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Belfort.

Belfort moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Yaquob goes down! Can Belfort finish him!?

Yaquob is rocked!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Belfort is working Yaquob over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Yaquob is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Belfort loads up on a big left hand. Yaquob felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Belfort looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Yaquob can't hide his disappointment, as Belfort celebrates the victory.
