Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arga Buarga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Neddles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Douglas Neddles!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neddles misses with a head kick.
Neddles throws a right and a left that both miss.
Neddles swats away the attempt to clinch by Buarga.
Neddles swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Buarga counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A nice combination there by Neddles.
Buarga tries to score a power double leg takedown but Neddles sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Buarga somewhat.

Buarga had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Neddles defends it easily.

Neddles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Buarga has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Neddles has managed to get both his arms back between Buarga's legs - danger averted.

Buarga has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Neddles can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neddles has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Buarga is proving hard to escape from.

Neddles wants to get up but he can't break Buarga's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Neddles pushes down on Buarga's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Neddles is nestled in close to Buarga, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Neddles is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Buarga defends it well.

Neddles takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Buarga manages to get to full guard.
Neddles must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Buarga is on top in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Buarga accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Buarga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Neddles swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arga Buarga.
I think Buarga has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
