Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Zach Parise!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rowland Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parise misses with a series of wild punches.
Parise has managed to clinch.
Parise doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Parise is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Parise for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Parise breaks from the clinch.
Edwards fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Parise sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Edwards goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Zach Parise has been cut.

Edwards throws a head kick that misses.
Edwards throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Edwards comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Edwards moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Parise throws a right hand that Edwards ducks under and follows up with a left that Edwards also avoids with ease.
Some bone on bone action there as Parise checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Edwards counters with a head kick. That will keep Parise thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Edwards buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

enabling Parise to counter with a crisp jab.
Parise lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Edwards, as that shot connected.
Parise is rocked!
Edwards lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Parise head around and knocks him out cold! Edwards hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
