The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faceman scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Rubio shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Faceman as he avoids it easily.
Faceman lands with a nice body punch.

Rubio gets tackled into the ropes by Faceman. Faceman maintains the clinch.
Faceman prevents the takedown attempt.
Rubio drops down looking for an ankle pick but Faceman pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rolles Rubio. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Faceman lands a left and a right that send Rubio crashing to the mat, dazed. Faceman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Faceman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Oh Rubio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Faceman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rubio seems to have got his legs back now.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Faceman! Rubio is out on his feet! Faceman rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rubio is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rubio is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
