Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caeser Augustus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Rader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rader has chosen His Own Fight Video as his entrance music. Justin Rader is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augustus stuns Rader with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rader ducks under a wild hook from Augustus.
Augustus loads up on a big right hand but Rader slips the punch.
Augustus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rader defends it nicely.
Caeser Augustus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Augustus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Augustus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rader pinned against the cage. Rader gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rader uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Augustus.
Augustus lands with a nice body punch.
Augustus misses the shot to the body.
Augustus takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rader, as that shot connected.

Augustus thows a leg kick but Rader checks it
and Rader counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Augustus takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Rader fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Augustus to the ground. Rader is now in Augustus's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Rader passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Augustus gets back to half guard.
Rader is trying to control. Augustus wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Rader uses his free foot to push down on Augustus's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Augustus.
Augustus can't escape the position.
Augustus wants to hold on but Rader pushes him away.
Augustus is looking to get to half guard.

Rader is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Augustus wants to control but Rader is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee warns Augustus that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Augustus manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Rader landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Augustus wants to improve his position but Rader is controlling well.
Rader is looking to advance position but Augustus won't allow it.

Rader stands up over Augustus, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Augustus is looking for a triangle here but Rader uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Augustus tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Rader prevents Augustus from getting the reversal.
Rader lands a big shot there that rocks Augustus but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Augustus bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Rader working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Augustus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Augustus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Augustus wants to control from the top but Rader keeps moving.
Augustus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rader swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rader manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Augustus is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rader is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
