Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Ness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Vargtass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vargtass has chosen Torparrock as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargtass thows a leg kick but Ness checks it
and Ness counters with a series of strikes. Vargtass will be more careful next time no doubt.
Vargtass throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Vargtass moves out of range of the body kick from Ness.
Ness takes a swing at Vargtass's ribcage but misses.
Vargtass tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vargtass throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ness's head.

It looks like Elliot Ness has been cut.
Vargtass keeps the fight on the outside.
Ness has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vargtass.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ness checks the leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Ness checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ness will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ness throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Crunch! Ness slams his shin into Vargtass's torso.
Vargtass fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ness throws a predictable looking body shot
and Vargtass counters with a right hand to the body.

Ness clinches with his opponent.
Ness unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Ness lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Richard Vargtass has been cut.
Vargtass with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Ness works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Vargtass looks gassed!

Ness's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ness showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Vargtass.
Ness slips under a jab from Vargtass.
Ness lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vargtass backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A solid leg kick lands there for Ness.
Ness pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vargtass throws a looping overhand right but Ness ducks down to avoid it.
Vargtass tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Ness darts in and clinches Vargtass up against the cage.
Ness misses with a knee strike.
Vargtass prevents a body shot from Ness.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Vargtass misses with a short punch on the inside.
Ness comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Vargtass tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ness avoids it.

That has opened up Richard Vargtass's cut even more.
Vargtass on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Vargtass tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Ness breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ness.
An inside leg kick lands from Ness.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ness.
Ness lands a glancing blow to the side of Vargtass's head.
Ness tries a head kick but it misses.
Ness misses with the combination.
Ness lands a head kick. Vargtass smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Vargtass throws a sloppy head kick
and Ness counters with a flying knee. Nice.

The cut above Richard Vargtass's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Vargtass walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Richard Vargtass's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Richard Vargtass's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
