Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Emanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emanuel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Wizard by Black Sabbath. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cartman's choice of entrance music: Santana Ft Everlast - Put Your Lights On. The key to victory for Matthew Emanuel has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Cartman!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emanuel feints a jab promting Cartman to slip. Emanuel then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cartman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Emanuel leaves Cartman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Cartman.
Emanuel tries to land a front kick but Cartman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Emanuel connects with a single shot there.
Emanuel ducks under a wild hook from Cartman.
Cartman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cartman lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Emanuel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Emanuel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cartman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Cartman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Emanuel can pounce on him.

Emanuel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cartman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cartman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Emanuel. That did some damage!
Cartman throws a push kick but Emanuel slaps the foot to one side.

No joy there for Cartman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Emanuel tries to close the distance and clinch but Cartman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Emanuel throws a looping overhand right but Cartman ducks down to avoid it.
Cartman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Emanuel wants to work for an arm triangle but Cartman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Cartman trying to control the action but Emanuel just sinks the hooks in.
Emanuel doesn't have the hooks in and Cartman manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cartman tries to stand but Emanuel is controlling from the bottom.
Cartman wants to control from the top but Emanuel keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eric Cartman was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Emanuel fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Emanuel lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cartman throws a wild body kick that Emanuel sees coming a mile off.

Cartman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Emanuel.
Emanuel shoots in but Cartman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cartman shoots in for a takedown but Emanuel shows good takedown defense.
Cartman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Emanuel tries to avoid it but Cartman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Emanuel to the ground. Emanuel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Matthew Emanuel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Cartman.
Cartman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Emanuel is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Cartman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Emanuel lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Cartman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Matthew Emanuel will probably get the nod.

Cartman bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Emanuel comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Cartman falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Cartman was out before he hit the floor!
