Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Rudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Panama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rudd comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - Get Up Stand Up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panama swings widly with a right hand
and Rudd cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Panama misses the jab.
Rudd shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Panama sprawls well. Panama wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rudd gets slowly back to his feet.
Rudd throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Panama throws a body punch but Rudd moves out of range.
Panama misses with a lunging right hand

and Rudd counters by moving into the clinch.
Panama is trying to break the clinch but Rudd has him pressed against the cage.
Rudd tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Panama just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rudd managing to block the knees to the body from Panama.
Panama tries a body shot but Rudd blocks it.

Rudd breaks from the clinch.
Panama misses with a right hand

and Rudd counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Panama's guard now.
Panama striking off his back but it's not causing Rudd any problems.
Rudd wants to control from the top but Panama keeps moving.
Rudd sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Panama's guard.
Panama is trying to control but can't.
Panama tries to roll over but Rudd keeps him under control.
Panama on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rudd not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Panama is defending against the submission attempts here by Rudd.
Panama wants to control but Rudd is keeping busy.

Panama is controlling Rudd's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Rudd looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Panama avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rudd.
Rudd lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Panama is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Panama is in trouble now - Rudd has advanced to mount!

Rudd looking to secure an arm triangle but Panama defends it well.
Panama really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Rudd is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Panama is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Panama flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Rudd anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Panama and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Rudd slips an arm under Panama chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Rudd has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Rudd is squeezing on Panama like an anaconda would it's prey. Panama fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
