The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kane throws out a loose jab but Ben uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ben throws a push kick but Kane slaps the foot to one side.
Ben drops his hands momentarily and Kane takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Kane avoids the head kick by Ben.
Ben misses with a body kick.
Kane misses the shot to the body.

Ben moves in looking to clinch but Kane pushes him off.

Jorge Ben seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kane throws a front kick that sends Ben stumbling back into the cage.
Kane connects with an inside leg kick.
Kane lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kane thows a body kick. Ben tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ben looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Crunch! Kane slams his shin into Ben's torso.

Kane pushes Ben up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kane lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Kane crunches a lovely knee into Ben's ribcage.

Ben with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Kane gets through Ben's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Jorge Ben will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
