The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Richards with that takedown attempt.
Damage tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Richards counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Richards thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Damage's head.
Richards is working for a submission of some sort.
Damage is looking to control Richards's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Damage avoid being mounted?
