Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rick Lance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wea Ponry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponry throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Lance throws a head kick that misses.
Ponry tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ponry displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lance throws out the jab.
Lance looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lance misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ponry looks to land a body kick but Lance moved away.
Lance lands a nice looking body shot.
Lance is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Lance dives in and scores a takedown into Ponry's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ponry escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lance gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lance is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rick Lance.
Ponry throws a push kick but Lance slaps the foot to one side.
Ponry misses with a kick to the body.
Lance throws a wild body kick that Ponry sees coming a mile off.

Ponry fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lance checks it well.
Lance lands with an uppercut that bounces Ponry off the ropes and back into range.
Lance feints a jab promting Ponry to slip. Lance then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ponry slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Rick Lance is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Lance feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ponrys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lance throws a body punch but Ponry moves out of range.
Lance doesn't manage to clinch there - Ponry circles away.

Lance wants to work for an arm triangle but Ponry is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lance is taking a breather. Ponry says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ponry is staying active underneath Lance, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Wea Ponry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lance feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ponry has his foot on Lance's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lance works his way back into a safe position though.

Lance got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ponry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lance has managed to get both his arms back between Ponry's legs - danger averted.
Ponry can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lance controls the pace.
