The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels lands an overhand right.
Michaels throws a right hand that Flowers ducks under and follows up with a left that Flowers also avoids with ease.
Michaels throws a nice looking combination but Flowers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A right-left combo lands from Michaels.

Michaels moves into range and clinches up with Flowers.

Michaels manages to break the clinch.
Michaels displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Flowers throws out the jab.

Flowers rushes Michaels and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Flowers shoots for a double leg takedown but Michaels sprawls well. He's pushed Flowers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Flowers takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Flowers is rocked!
Michaels connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Flowers tumbling to the canvas! Michaels pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Flowers was done - good stoppage!
