Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamarcus Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parts has chosen call to prayer as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a one two combo.
Parts lands with a hook. Johnson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.

The fighters circling - Johnson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters circle momentarily. Parts darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Good leg kick by Parts there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Johnson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Johnson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Parts scores with the left hand. Johnson knows he should have avoided that one.
Parts has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parts moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Parts throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Johnson on the side of the head.

Parts throws a good cross that connects.
Johnson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Parts counters with a one-two to the body.
Parts pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Johnson back to the cage. Parts follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Johnson misses with a left hand
and Parts cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Parts throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Parts paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Parts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Parts uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.
Parts is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Johnson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Johnson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Parts, right into the meat.
Nice straight punches there by Johnson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Johnson.
Parts fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Johnson checks it well.
A combination from Johnson does no damage.
Johnson throws the left hand but Parts avoids the punch easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Parts throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Johnson tries to bum rush Parts with a series of wild strikes but Parts uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Parts scores with a crisp jab that stopped Johnson in his tracks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Peter Parts will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Parts connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johnson momentarily.

Parts slips a straight right by Johnson.
Johnson lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Parts can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Johnson and Parts drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Johnson.
