And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hugo Mendazedora!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone throws a combination that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Mendazedora throws a nice inside leg kick.
Stone throws a combination that misses
and Mendazedora counters with a good, hard body kick but Stone shrugs it off.
Mendazedora showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stone.
Left hook, right uppercut from Stone.
Stone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stone tries to bum rush Mendazedora with a series of wild strikes but Mendazedora uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stone throws a right hand that Mendazedora ducks under and follows up with a left that Mendazedora also avoids with ease.
Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mendazedora counters with a body kick that stops Stone in his tracks momentarily.
Stone is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mendazedora. Stone shrugs it off though.
Good leg kick by Mendazedora there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mendazedora plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Stone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Mendazedora throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mendazedora scores with a jab to the head.
Mendazedora lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Mendazedora - that will leave a mark!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stone crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mendazedora - the referee stops the clock and Stone gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mendazedora. Stone manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Stone chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mendazedora can pounce on him.
Mendazedora scores with a kick to the body.
Mendazedora throws a nice outside leg kick.
Mendazedora delivers a nice body kick.
Mendazedora connects with a looping right hand.
Mendazedora fakes the leg kick and cracks Stone in the body.
Mendazedora lands a big head kick that sends Stone to the canvas! Mendazedora follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hugo Mendazedora!
After the fight, Hugo Mendazedora was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
