Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hazni Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justin Stevens will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ali dodges the punch combination from Stevens.
Stevens lands a glancing blow to the side of Ali's head.
Stevens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sloppy strikes from Stevens. Those never looked like landing.
Stevens misses with a looping left.
Stevens throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ali takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Stevens scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stevens misses with a few strikes there.

Ali misses the jab.
Stevens throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stevens looks gassed!
A looping hook to the body misses from Ali. Stevens does a little dance to reset his feet.

Justin Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ali closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ali's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee asks Ali politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ali prefers to stall for the moment though.

Ali cracks Stevens with a big right hand but Stevens just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Stevens parries the strikes from Ali easily there. Ali is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stevens to escape.

Hazni Ali dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ali throws a nice looking combination but Stevens bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ali pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stevens back to the cage. Ali follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Stevens is rocked!

It looks like Justin Stevens has been cut.
Stevens takes a swing at Ali's ribcage but misses.
Stevens is still on wobbly legs! Can Ali finish him?

Ali lands a huge takedown. Stevens is out but the ref is slow to react and Ali lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Stevens lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
