Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tom Hardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hardy makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hardy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silver manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silver is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silver moves into the clinch.
Silver gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hardy regains guard.
Silver trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hardy's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardy kicks Silver off and gets to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hardy is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Silver is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
