The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyons fails with a takedown attempt.
Hawk slaps away a takedown attempt from Lyons, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hawk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lyons is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Lyons wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mo Hawk has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hawk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lyons.
