The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darian throws a hook but Steller avoids it easily.
Darian swings for the body but Steller moves out of range.

Steller feints and as Darian raises his hands in defense, Steller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Darian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steller.

Darian keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Darian lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Steller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Darian counters with a series of strikes. Steller will be more careful next time no doubt.
Lance Darian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Steller.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd cheers as Darian lands an impressive looking overhand right. Steller doesn't seem phased though.

Steller shoots in for a takedown but Darian shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

It looks like Mac Steller has been cut.
Darian swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Steller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Darian is fending him off so far but Steller persists. Nope, Darian circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Steller with that takedown attempt.
Darian throws a right and a left that Steller avoids nicely.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Steller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Lance Darian will probably get the nod.
