The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esperanza throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Moony counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Esperanza tries to get to full guard but Moony has control of the leg.
Esperanza is in trouble now - Moony has advanced to mount!
Esperanza really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Esperanza tries to lock up and control but Moony gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Moony punishing his opponent with strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Esperanza tries to hold on but Moony postures up.
Esperanza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moony on the ground.
Moony breaks from Esperanza 's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Esperanza is rocked!
Moony looking to isolate an arm here. Esperanza doesn't see it coming and as Moony extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Moony!
