Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rex Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian K (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rex Bisping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Damian K!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Bisping as K shoots in.

K drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

K decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Bisping throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

K has taken the fight to the clinch.

K manages to break the clinch.
Bisping wants to clinch
and K counters with a thumping low kick.
K throws a nice head kick!


Bisping is rocked!
Bisping tries for a takedown but K circles away easily

and K counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Oh Bisping is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bisping wants to sweep here but K controlling him for the moment.
Bisping seems to have got his legs back now.

Bisping has his foot on K's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. K works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
K tries to free his leg and advance position but Bisping is retaining full guard.
K is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells K's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

K stands and throws Bisping's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bisping tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but K wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
K advances nicely into full mount.
Bisping tries to hold on but K postures up.
Bisping is breathing heavily.
Bisping tries to reverse the position but K maintains control.
K controlling the position easily from mount.
Bisping is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
K sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Bisping sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Bisping is looking for a sweep. K is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
K trying to pass the guard but Bisping defending well.
Bisping wants to improve his position but K is controlling well.
K blocks the strikes from Bisping.

Bisping wants to get back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
K shoots and misses
letting Bisping counter with a right hand.

Bisping is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but K has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Bisping is looking to regain half guard here but K keeps moving and retains side control.

K stands up and beckons Bisping to his feet.
K throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
K doesn't manage to clinch there - Bisping circles away.
K tries a head kick but it misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bisping tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. K just stands there and leans against the cage.
K drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bisping gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rex Bisping has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian K.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
K goes for a takedown attempt but Bisping pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

K gets a takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bisping moves into full guard.
Bisping is trying to hold K in close to prevent damage but K has managed to pass into half guard.
Bisping is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bisping is working hard here to advance position.
Bisping looks like he's trying to stand up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damian K dominated that round.
That's time! Bisping's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

K wants to control but Bisping is keeping busy.

Bisping escapes and gets back to his feet.
K is breathing heavily.
K swats away the attempt to clinch by Bisping.
K throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and K makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
K tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bisping looks to land a combination but K avoids it well.

K on the wrong end of a nice jab.
K throws a nice inside leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bisping gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from K.

K is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bisping can't fight it off and eventually K manages to take the fight to the floor. Bisping looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

K wants to control from the top but Bisping keeps moving.

K trying to control the position from guard on top but Bisping is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
K pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bisping is keeping the position for now.

Bisping is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bisping wants to hit a switch here but K passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bisping there!

Bisping bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Damian K has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bisping wants to pass the guard but K is keeping the position.
K is trying to control the position but Bisping postures up.
K manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bisping manages to get himself to full guard.
K stands up over Bisping, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

K winds up and cracks Bisping with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Bisping is trying to defend against the ground and pound but K scores with a couple of nice shots.
K wants to stand up but Bisping is controlling the position.
K wants to free his trapped foot but Bisping is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bisping moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

K avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
K forces his way into half guard.

K decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
K looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Damian K showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


K shoots for a double leg takedown but Bisping sprawls well. He's pushed K's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

K wants to pass the guard but Bisping is keeping the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
K is keen to just control but Bisping is a slippery customer.
K is nestled in close to Bisping, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

K stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bisping swivels though and keeps the full guard.
K has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bisping is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bisping is working for a kimura but K is defending it quite comfortably.
Rex Bisping has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

K pushes Bisping off and gets back to his feet.
Bisping misses with a few strikes there.
Bisping fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bisping tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but K swivels and escapes.
K feints and then cracks Bisping's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bisping down.
Bisping throws a left and a right that both miss

so K counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

K stands and steps away. Bisping gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

K clinches.

Damian K comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well K has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
