These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Mindtricks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mindtricks stalling.
Mindtricks working over Smith with some ground and pound. Smith looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith tries to roll over but Mindtricks keeps him under control.

Smith has hold of Mindtricks's hands but Mindtricks slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
