Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Irons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hungy Henry!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irons paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Irons misses with an uppercut.

Henry clinches up with Irons and pushes him back against the cage.
Irons is trying to break the clinch but Henry is controlling him.
Irons blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Irons pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Henry fails in his attempt to clinch.
Irons misses with a looping right.
Irons pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Irons throws a series of punches but Henry avoids them all with ease.

Henry takes the fight into the clinch.

Irons lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Henry fails with an attempt to clinch.
Henry doesn't manage to clinch there - Irons circles away.
Irons smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Henry fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Irons.
Henry has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Irons finds it's way round the side to connect with Henry's head.
Henry ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Henry is trying desperately to land a takedown but Irons is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Henry.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Irons is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Henry seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Henry lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Henry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Henry moves forwards but Irons connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Henry looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Henry not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Irons moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Henry postures up in Irons's guard and throws a big left but Irons blocks it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
