Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gregor Mathew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Maytrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maytrix comes into a darkened arena with his song building. boen klub kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Maytrix shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mathew manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mathew has his foot on Maytrix's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maytrix works his way back into a safe position though.

Mathew is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Maytrix pulls his head out easily.
Maytrix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mathew. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mathew has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Maytrix. Oh but Mathew has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Maytrix goes limp - he's gone! Mathew jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
