Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Soul Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reaper comes to the cage accompanied by ayatolla. Soul Reaper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Soul Reaper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugo Frazier!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaper keeps the fight on the outside.

Reaper gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Frazier manages to break the clinch.

Reaper tries to keep at a distance but Frazier has taken the fight into the clinch.

Reaper is fighting off a takedown attempt but Frazier is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Reaper to the mat. Reaper regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Reaper looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Reaper controls Frazier momentarily but Frazier frees himself.
Frazier with a flurry of punches that miss.
Frazier wants to get up but he can't break Reaper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Frazier cracks Reaper with a solid left hand.
Frazier forces his way into half guard.
Frazier working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Frazier throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Reaper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Reaper is staying active underneath Frazier, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frazier is looking to stall here but Reaper recovers full guard.

Reaper is breathing heavily.
Frazier pushes down on Reaper's leg and manages to get into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Frazier thows a huge punch but Reaper dodges it nicely.

It looks like Frazier is going to stand back up.

Frazier stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Reaper to get to his feet.

Frazier tries to clinch but Reaper moves out of range.

and Reaper counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Frazier!
Frazier is trying to stand up.
Frazier is looking to improve his position but Reaper isn't that keen on the idea.
Frazier sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frazier is trying to stand.
Reaper seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Frazier does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Frazier is trying to stand up here but Reaper is controlling him well.

Reaper uses his free foot to push down on Frazier's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Frazier.
Frazier can't escape the position.
Frazier tries to buck Reaper off but he can't manage it.
Frazier is working to get back to half guard.
Frazier wants to control but Reaper is having none of it.
Frazier is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reaper fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Frazier digs a right hand underneath Reaper's ribcage. Reaper let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Frazier has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Reaper regains guard immediately.

Reaper is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Frazier with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Frazier wanted to stand there but Reaper had control of the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Frazier passes into half guard.
Frazier slips a nice elbow through Reaper's hands, connecting with Reaper's forehead.

Reaper gets caught flat footed, as Frazier shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Frazier tries for a takedown but Reaper manages to get underhooks.
Reaper can't get the takedown.

Frazier breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Reaper shoots and misses

and Frazier counters with a shoot takedown. Reaper fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Soul Reaper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Frazier avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Frazier scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Frazier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reaper bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Frazier's guard.

Frazier escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reaper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Frazier wants to get back to his feet but Reaper passes into half guard.

Hugo Frazier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Frazier cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Frazier is working for a guillotine from mount but Reaper frees his head quite easily.
BOOM! Frazier connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Frazier tries to control but Reaper wriggling away.
Frazier lands a big elbow.

Frazier has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Reaper's face.
A nice elbow there by Frazier.
Reaper manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Frazier wants to pass to mount but Reaper is defending the position.

Frazier looking for a submission but Reaper manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Frazier must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Soul Reaper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Reaper counters with a nice double leg into side control. Frazier won't be happy with that.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Frazier is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Frazier lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Reaper!
Soul Reaper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I would just about give that final round to Hugo Frazier.
Well Frazier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
