Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Burgess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Macedon III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Anthony Burgess has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Anthony Burgess seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macedon III shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burgess but Burgess pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Burgess scores with a shot to the body.
Macedon III tries to clinch but Burgess is having none of it.
Macedon III doesn't manage to clinch there - Burgess circles away.

A punch lands to the side of Macedon III 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Macedon III shoots for a double leg takedown but Burgess sprawls well. He's pushed Macedon III's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Macedon III changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burgess tries to avoid it but Macedon III manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burgess to the ground. Burgess escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Macedon III needs to keep his hands up - Burgess had a free shot at his head there.

Burgess is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Horrible takedown by Macedon III or perhaps it was just good defense by Burgess which made him look bad.

Macedon III is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Burgess moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
