The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pidasso is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pidasso changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sousa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sousa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Pidasso has hold of Sousa's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sousa seems comfortable defending it but Pidasso has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sousa is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sousa is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pidasso couldn't care less - he's delighted!
