Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madrox lands a high kick!
Haze tries to close the distance and clinch but Madrox swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Disasterpiece Madrox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Madrox clinches with his opponent.
Madrox wants to get back to striking at distance but Haze won't allow it.
Madrox is trying to break the clinch but Haze is controlling him.
Haze fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Madrox tries to break the clinch but Haze is controlling the position.

Madrox breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Madrox shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haze as he avoids it easily.

Madrox gets a clinch.

Madrox pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Madrox throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Haze's head.

Madrox clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A frustrated look appears on Madrox's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Madrox breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Haze could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Haze throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Madrox tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Haze is in Madrox's guard.
Haze stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Madrox swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Haze stands up and waves to Madrox to follow him.
Haze wants to clinch up but Madrox keeps it at a distance.
Madrox displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Haze drops down looking for an ankle pick but Madrox pulls his leg out and moves away.

Madrox darts in and clinches Haze up against the cage.
Stalling in the clinch from Haze.
Haze fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jenna Haze. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A frustrated look appears on Madrox's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Madrox breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Madrox lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Madrox closes the distance and pushes Haze back into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Haze has Madrox pressed against the cage, preventing Madrox from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Madrox is trying to push Haze away but Haze has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Madrox breaks from the clinch.

Madrox plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Madrox moves into the clinch.
Madrox is trying to force a seperation but Haze has the dominant position.
Madrox wants to break free but Haze has control.
Haze goes for a takedown in the clinch but Madrox prevents it.

Madrox breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Madrox throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Haze.

Madrox closes the distance and clinches.

Madrox manages to break the clinch.

Haze pushes Madrox up against the cage in a clinch.
Haze is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Madrox gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Madrox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Madrox tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Haze tries to clinch there but Madrox circles away.

and Haze counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Madrox!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Madrox holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Haze tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Haze unloads with some shots from mount but Madrox bucks and avoids them well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Haze misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Haze throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Haze lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Haze quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Haze but it's paid off an Madrox is forced to tap! Nice work by Haze.
