The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cosbey stands and throws Gracie's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Cosbey sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cosbey drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cosbey jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Roger Gracie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cosbey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cosbey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cosbey thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Cosbey feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gracies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cosbey wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Roger Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cosbey is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roger Gracie.
I think Cosbey has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
