The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carson closes the distance and clinches.
Orton is trying to break the clinch but Carson has him pressed against the cage.
Carson trying to land knees to the body.
A short body shot lands from Carson as the two fighters clinch.
A short left from Carson.
Carson lands with a left to the head.
Carson scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Carson works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Orton tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Carson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Carson lands a left and a right that send Orton crashing to the mat, dazed. Carson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Orton is rocked!

It looks like Randy Orton has been cut.

Carson pushes Orton up against the cage in a clinch.
Orton is still on wobbly legs! Can Carson finish him?
Orton has had enough of the clinch but Carson keeps him there for the moment.

Carson manages to break the clinch.
Orton seems to have recovered his senses.
Carson moves away from the strike by Orton.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Carson throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Orton is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
