Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dominick Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isabel Na (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Na gets a takedown into half guard.
Na controlling the action here.
Aldo is trying to stand up here but Na is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Na throwing shots but Aldo is blocking nicely.
Na trying to control the pace.
Aldo keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Na is pressing down on Aldo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Aldo is holding on for now.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Isabel Na.
Na throws a right and a left that both miss.
Aldo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Na manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Na is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Aldo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Aldo shrugs it off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aldo is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Na fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Na goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Aldo turns into him and now he's in Na's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aldo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch but Na swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Aldo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dominick Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Na steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Aldo. That one must have hurt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Na takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Na has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Aldo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Isabel Na hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
