The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
metal walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
metal has a takedown stuffed.
Mankiw lunges at metal with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by metal's hand.
metal tries to clinch but Mankiw moves out of range.

Mankiw lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
metal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
metal shoots in looking for a takedown. Mankiw tries to sprawl out of it but metal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mankiw manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
metal tries to move into range but Mankiw moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Mankiw scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
